REGINA ROSSI VALENTINE'S extensive professional performance career began at a young age when she was awarded a music/voice scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - the largest one in its history, at the time! She was also the only undergraduate to sing with the University's Chamber Choir. Regina has twice had the distinguished honor of being the featured guest soloist with The Eastern Symphony Orchestra (ESO), Symphonicity, and in earlier years with The Virginia Beach Pops Orchestra. She has also sung with the prestigious VA Chorale, was a lead singer with the Hotel Paradise Roof Garden Orchestra, and performs leading roles with numerous professional theatre companies, including co-starring in Johnny Mercer & Me at the historic Lucas Theater in Savannah, GA.
She is currently performing with "Transcendence" in PA, as well as private singing engagements in VA.
Following college she could be seen performing on the General Jackson Showboat at Opryland, USA, and then traveled the world as lead singer/dancer on many cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, Royal Viking, and Holland America.
Regina has starred in many leading & supporting roles such as recently playing Mother Superior in Nunsense, being double cast as both Miss Andrew & Birdwoman in Mary Poppins (starring Tiffany Haas of Broadway’s Wicked), Madame-Stepmother in Cinderella (starring Hunter Ryan Herdlicka of Broadway’s A Little Night Music), Velma in Hairspray, Lady Beaconsfield in Jekyll & Hyde (Starring Constantine Maroulis & Tiffany Haas), Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera, Marsinah in Kismet, Guenevere in Camelot, and Marion in The Music Man. Her powerful belting voice and dance afforded her roles such as Cassie in A Chorus Line, Mrs. Kelly in Annie Warbucks, Ado Annie in Oklahoma & Sr. Leo in Nunsense. She also recorded the title role of Tsarina Alexandra on the original highlights CD for a pop opera titled Rasputin, starring Ted Neeley of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Regina has been a very successful voiceover artist for over 3 decades with numerous long-term & big name clients including Fisher-Price, Ritz-Carlton, Kellogg, Lowe's, Operation SMILE, Sothesby's International, Lufthansa Airlines, Today’s Builder TV Show, and many more!
